Rev. Karlene Fyffe Phillips

Rev. Karlene Fyffe Phillips

Born in Jamaica, West Indies to a Preacher and an Evangelist, Minister Phillips accepted the Lord at age 8 and through all the challenges of being a young Christian has stayed the course. She started her evangelistic ministry in high school and since then has preached and taught the word in various settings, including churches, revivals, youth summer camps and nursing homes.

Minister Phillips has several passions but at the top of the list are: growing stronger in the Lord through studying and sharing His word and glorifying Him through her work with children, singing and working in her garden.

Minister Phillips is a licensed minister of the gospel and a graduate of Queens College in New York where she earned a master’s degree in Library and Information Science. She is currently enrolled in the Master of Divinity program at Apex School of Theology where she continues her quest to gain deeper insight into the word of God and prepares for the doctoral program. She is actively involved in the community through her work with various youth-related committees and boards.
